Harmandir Sahib Patna
Gurudwara Harmandir Sahib Patna is the respectful centre for propagating Sikhism. As one would go through the history of Gurudwaras in India, Takht Sri Patna Sahib is considered as the second accepted and acknowledged Takht of the Sikhs in the East.
The Sikh emperor 'Sher-e-Punjab' , Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the one who undertook the task of raising a monumental Sikh Temple at Patna, when this celestial edifice was damaged as a result of an earthquake. With the concerted efforts and co-operation of the Sikh population; Harmandir Sahib at Patna stands today with all pride.
Some important relics of the tenth Guru Holy Guru Gobind Singhji are preserved in Harmandir Sahib Patna. A pangura , the cradle for nurturing children, with four stands adorned with Golden plates which was used to comfort Guruji during his childhood days for sleeping is kept as a relic here.Besides this , four arrows made of iron, a sacred sword and a pair of his sandals all used by Guruji are also preserved. A sacred book containing the Hukamnamas of Guru Gobind Singh and Guru Tegh Bahadur is also kept in this holy shrine.

How to Reach
Patna can be reached by all the three modes of transport, namely road, rail and by air. Road wise it is very flexible, since this place is in the reach of National Highway No.31 which crosses Dinapur, Patna and Patna City. UPSRTC buses run in plenty, while roads are well maintained for a car drive. Rail wise, Patna Railway Station is in the main line of the Eastern Railway sector. By Air, Patna Airport has good number of flight schedules to the other airport destinations of India.
