Guru Tej Bahadur in fact stayed at this place for a night. He was on his journey to Anandpur Sahib when he stayed at this location.

History

There are several narrations that demonstrate Guru Gobind Singh also visited this holy place. Actually, he was returning back from Lakhnaur village when he visited this spot. He stayed there for a night in order to take rest. Guru Gobind Singh also blessed the villagers and Shiv Charan Das for their service and hospitality. He declared that every pilgrim who visits this place in the future will have his wish fulfilled. Guru Gobind Singh also declared that the entire village will be full of happiness and prosperity in the future.
