Gurdwara Padal Sahib
GurudwaraPadal Sahib is located in Mandi, which was once the capital of a well known hill station and now is one of the district town in Himachal Pradesh. It is a beautiful location surrounded by natural scenery with Beas river flowing along its side and it is also a very famous pilgrimage place. Guru Gobind Singh once payed visit to the state of Mandi and set up his camp outside the town. The shrine which is raised on the site where Guru Gobind Singh had set his camp is known as GurdwaraPadal Sahib.
History
The Ruler Raja SiddhSen invited Guru Gobind Singh to Mandi and the Guru set his camp in the outskirts of the town and the ladies of the household were escorted to Raja's palace. Likewise, two Shrines had been established, one was situated inside the palace area and the other shrine at the camp of Guru Gobind Singh. The shrine which is at the inner site is still looked after by the ruling family while the another one is situated at the bank of Beas river is known as GurdwaraPadal Sahib. This land was given to the Balh village by SardarLahina Singh Majithia, who was the Governor of the same region governed by Maharaja Ranjit Singh.The reconstruction of the building was done in 1926 by an eminent personality Sardar Dina Nath, who was the chief secretary of the state of Mandi.

Via Air
The beautiful district town of Mandi lacks in an Airport. The closest airport to Mandi is the Bhuntar Airport, which is located at Kullu. This airport is about 60 Km away from Mandi. A person wanting to travel by air has to get off at this airport. He would further have to use the road way to reach Mandi. Other well known cities like Chandigarh, Delhi, Shimla, Pathakot, etc, are well connected to Kullu by air.
Via Rail
Mandi lacks in a railway station as well. This makes it impossible for a person to travel directly to Mandi by train. The closest railway station to Mandi is the Jogindar Nagar railway station, which is exactly 50 Km away from Mandi. A person travelling by train has to continue his further journey by road.
Via Roads
The district town has well constructed roads laid down. Thus, traveling by roads is more comfortable in this region. Taxis and buses are also easily available here. The roads are straight, thus, the highways can easily be approached.
