Gurudwara Gobind Ghat Patna
Gobind Singh Guru ji had immortalized few places that were present at Patna Saheb and they later came to be known as the Gurudwaras. This Gurudwara Gobind Ghat is situated at the banks of River Ganga and this is only two hundred yards away from the Harmandir sahib. This is also known by the name of Kangan Ghat and this is also the place where Guru Gobind had thrown his / the golden bangle. This was the same place where Guru Gobind Rai has also blessed to Shiv Dutt Pandit for mental peace. He was the devotee of Ram Chandra.
History
Chand Maini being the local chieftain along with his queen was the greatest admirers of this Guru Gobind Rai. Moreover, they were everything that can satisfy them but they were childless and therefore they used to feel certain gap and darkness in their life and future. This also gave them a lot of disappointment and also made them unhappy as well. According to the traditions and customs, son can perform all the religious rites after the death of their parents and this is how they were planning to change their lives into the immortality and hopes as well. They have developed the great admiration for their child prophet and this has also provided them with the new motto in their lives as well. Yearning and love was growing everyday and therefore Guru Gobind Rai was adopted as their son of King as well as queen.
