Gurudwara Bhandara Sahib Vill
The first Guru of Sikhism Guru Nanak Devji came to this place during the third travel tour in 1514 AD and he was asked to provide different food types by the Yogis who were local inhabitants. On shaking the Banyan tree, different types of food items fell from the tree which quenched the hunger of Bhai Mardana and the Yogis. This Gurudwara is placed near the Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib. The history adds on to say that the yogis played a trick by giving a sesame seed to Guruji and said the seed has to be distributed to everyone in the premises, thereby satisfying the preaching’s of ‘WAND SHAKO. Guru Ji understood their intention and asked Bhai Mardana Ji to crush it, then mix it with milk and serve to all. When Guruji questioned as to who was deprived of the sesame seed, the Yogis felt ashamed and again the Guruji satisfied the sadistic needs of the Yogis by providing food from the tree which they pointed out.
