Some of the cities that are located near to this place are-Ashraf Villa, Nabi Mansion and Bajals House.
History
These Deccani Sikhs history can be easily traced by the visit of the first Guru Nanak and people here have been engaged in numerous trades. All the local Sikhs here are referred to as the Andhraites. If you get a chance to interact with these people, then most of them will not be speaking in Punjabi, they will be easily doing the writing or reading work. They will be mainly chanting the verses that have been written in Guru Granth Holy Book and they will be going to Gurudwaras and following all the religious practices. Moreover, it will be very difficult to find out which one is the Punjabi Sikh and the Deccani Sikh.
At the present moment, Sikh people are known to control the larger portion of local business and this is inclusive of steel and transportation business. The Sikh community located over here is referred by the name of Punjabi Sabha Andhra Pradesh. This community was provided with two hundred acres of land by the 4th Nizam and has been located at the Sikh Attapur cantonment which was mainly given for housing society development. There had been times that when this scheme had to undergo / face many legal troubles.
