Gurudwara Damdama Sahib
Gurdwara Damdama Sahib is found in the chronicled town of Sri Hargobindpur, which is situated in the distance of 38 km south of Gurdaspur. History
This Gurdwara is arranged at a separation of 32 Km away from Batala as well as 40 Km away from the City “Gurdaspur” within the township of Shri Hargobindpur. The Sixth Sikh Guru Shri Hargobind Sahib Ji went to the town in 1629, while originating from Kartarpur and restored the town. A fierce fight was battling between Mughals and Sikh Army in which both Ratan Chand and Karam Chand were executed. Numerous Sikhs won affliction. Gurdwara Damdama Sahib has been built in the memory of the abovementioned Sikh saints. At this place, the Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji released his Kamarkassa (a waist sash) to take a rest after the skirmish of Shri Hargobindpur.
