Gurudwara Nadha Sahib Panchkula
Gurudwara Nada Sahib is culturally the most significant shrine of the Sikhs. It is also one of the oldest Sikh Gurudwara and is very famous.
Gurudwara Nada Sahib is a very famous Sikh Gurudwara which is located in the city of Panchkula. It is located on the banks of river Ghaggar in Shivalik foothills. This Gurudwara is considered to be a famous shrine of the Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh stayed in this place while he travelled from Paonta Sahib to the city of Anandpur Sahib in 1688 after the Battle of Bhangani.
History
This is the place where Guru Gobind Singhji as well as his victorious warriors had taken halt on their way back after battling with the Mughals.
It was a man from the Lobana caste known as Nadhu Shah who had the opportunity to serve Guru Gobind Singh and his army. He served them with a great zeal with dedication that the Guru blessed him by gifting him this place and also told him that it would known by his name, he blessed the people of the city by saying that all of their wishes will be fulfilled when they visit this place with complete devotion. It is here that Puranmasi day is celebrated every with great devotion.
