Gurudwara Chhevin Patshahi Kurukshetra
The Shrine Gurudwara Chhevin Patshahi is located near Senaya Tank honoring Guru Hargobind who had visited Thanesar in 1638 during solar eclipse fair. During Guruji’s visit for this place in earlier periods, he had stayed for few days here on his return from Nanak Mata. People of this region having seen the Holy Gurus Guru Nanak and Guru Amardas appearing in attires of celibacy, were surprised to see Guru Hargobind who was armed with weapons besides being accompanied by armed attendants. But their doubts were cleared when they attended his spiritual discourses later. On the very spot where the Guru had had his stay during his visit was later made a memorial platform and over this platform Gurudwara Chhevin Patshahi was raised in 1909.
