Gurudwara Bhagta Bhai Ka Bathinda
The Bathinda City in Punjab is fortunate enough to have its name in the history and the same was called with the name Bikramgarh. Ibn Battuta, who was an Islam Traveler, called it as Batrind, since it was believed to be constructed by Bhati Rao, who was the son of BAL Band who later became the rulers of Punjab in the sixth Century AD and thus the city became famous for its beautiful Gurudwaras and the great saints who were the regular visitors here. Guru Gobind Singh ji also visited this sacred place in 1705 who was well received and served with great devour by Bhai Bhagta. City of Bathinda is the headquarter of this sacred place and Bhai Bhagta, Grandson of Bhai Bahilo who was a famous Sikh of Guru Arjan Devji's period was one who founded this place.
More Description
History holds the origin of the Bhagta Bhai Ka Village to say around 20 kms east to Jaito in the Faridkot District of Punjab and seventeenth Century sees the creation of this place, by Bhai Bhagta, who belonged to the period (1553-1643) and was very famous during Guru Arjan's time. It is further stated that the five children of the founder Bhai Bhagta viz Gurdas, Tara, Bhara, Mohra and Bhagta served the great saint Guru Gobind Singh during his visit to this sacred place, with high reverence and devotion and thus inherited the good sanskar of their father. It is further seen that Guru Gobind Singh, advised these people to avoid interfering with the supernatural powers and allow the spirits in its own way a free travel which again is confirmed through a old well situated in the famous Gurudwara Patshahi 10 which is situated in the northern end of the village and is believed to be carrying the spirits with the name Bhutarivala Khuh. The sacred place is nothing but a room with a platform in the mid part and the Gurudwara finds a place on a plinth height of 15 meters square hall and the sanctum sanctorum is on one side and surrounded by the verandah on the other sides

- First of Magh which falls during middle of January month marks the annual celebration which is well attended by large gatherings with great devotion and devour.
