Gurudwara Charan Kanwal
The sacred place which dates back to the historical days is where we find the Gurudwara Charan Kanwal and this is located at Machiwara with a Garden where Guru Gobind Singh had a small nap and also drank water. The building is so nicely built which brings a holy touch to the entire area. Every year, an exhibition is conducted in December coinciding with the days when the Guruji had stayed here. Also, Machiwara has another Gurudwara called Chubara Sahib which marks the importance of Guruji’s night stay and is called as GULABA DA CHUBARA.
Another notable thing is that this is the place where the Guruji sang ‘Shabad Mitra Pyare Nu’ and the Gurudwara gets water from the same well from where the Garden was watered during Guruji’s days.
