Gurudwara San Sahib
San Sahib Gurudwara has been located in village Basarke and this is at the Amritsar District, Punjab. Amar Das Guru Ji has been given the name of next guru through Angad Dev Ji Guru.
History
Datu Ji who was the son of Angad Dev Guru was similar to the some of Guru Nanak and as being the son of Guru, he should be appointed the Guru. He had also forced Amar Das Guru Ji for leaving this Sahib Goindwal. Amar Das Guru Ji was a very humble person and he had returned to Basarke family village. Here, he shut himself in the small hut and he had also mentioned the note for the same. In this note he wrote, He who will be opening the door will not be the Sikh and neither will I be his Guru. This was known by the Sikhs delegation that was being leaded through the Baba Buddha and this made them completely perplexed. At last, Baba Buddha has made the final decision of making a hole and ensured that he was not going against the instructions that were said by Guru. Once, they have pleaded with the Guru that he should returned back to the Goindwal Sahib and he was the only beloved Guru of theirs and they will not be able to live without them. Amar Das Guru Ji had ultimately relented this decision and he decided to return with Sikh. The hole that has been made in the wall has been preserved inside this Gurudwara Sahib and this has been located at Amritsar- Chaubal Street.
