Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib
Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib is located in Muktsar Sahib City, Punjab. In old days, the city was known as Khidrana. Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib is a place where Guru Govind Singh fought his last battlefield against the Mughal Empire.
Today, it is one of the visited places for the Sikh as the Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib has its own grace and grandeur. The followers of Shri Guru Govind Singh visit this Gurudwara to pay homage to the martyrs.
History
Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib has been built in the memory of the Sikh warriors who took part in the battle against the Mughal Empire with Shri Guru Govind Singh. There are forty Sikhs who was fighting in this battle.
The forty (40) Sikhs had uninhabited Guru Govind Singh in Anandpur Sahib. They said to Guru Govind Singh that we are not your Sikhs and nor you are ours. And then they went to their homes in the old city Khidrana. But, when they reached their homes their wives criticized for their act of shame by deploying Guru Govind Singh. Also, Mata Bhag Kaur Ji inspired them and they went in search of Guru Govind Singh.
At that time, Guru Govind Singh had fight with the Muslim Army and these forty Sikhs joined with battle. Unfortunately, they all died in the battle. Only two Sikhs returned alive. They were Guru Govind Singh and Bhai Maha Singh. Also, Bhai Maha Singh took his last breath in the lap of Guru Govind Singh when Guru Govind Singh tore the letter.
In this way, this beautiful Gurudwara was built in the remembrance of all the Sikh warriors who fought in the battle with Guru Govind Singh in 1705 AD. After the battle, the old name was changed and a new name of the village was declared as Muktsar Sahib. Muktas means the liberated one.

Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib is located in Muktsar Sahib City. There is a beautiful Sarovar (River) nearby the Gurudwara. The visitors and the devotees purify them by taking a dip plunge into the river.

In the month of January, a big celebration has been arranged in the memory of the Forty Sikh Warriors in Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib.
