Gurudwara Nankyana Sahib Sangrur
A meeting held in October 1920 AD at Dharowal, District Sheikhpura, for making reforms in the Gurudwara Nankyana Sahib came out with the blunders done in the Gurudwara premises, in a place where Guru Nanak was born, and thus the city with the name Nankyana Sahib was in to being. The owner of the estate Mahant Narian Dass who was advised to mend himself was of the feeling that he not obeys the orders of the committee since he had very good income apart from the offering of Gurudwara.
