Brief Description
Follow this recipe and learn how to make a kuttu paratha. It is a dish which is prepared in navaratras for those who keep fasts.
Ingredients of Kuttu Paratha
- Kuttu Atta- 2 Cups
- Rock Salt- 1 tsp
- Boiled Potatoes- 2
- Dry Flour (For Dusting)
- Ghee/ Clarified Butter
How to make Kuttu Paratha
- Mash the potatoes and combine them with kuttu atta and rock salt.
- Pour in water and knead well.
- Let it sit for an hour.
- Make 8 equal size balls out of the dough.
- Flatten these balls into roti shape.
- Put a tawa on the flames.
- Now put a paratha on the tawa when it is hot enough. Drop ghee on the edges.
- Flip and cook from both sides and pour in some more ghee f needed
- Parantha is done when both sides are golden brown in color.
