    • Now mix in 1 tbsp of oil all the items taken for seasoning to kuzhambu.
    • Cook ginger-garlic paste, onion, and tomatoes one by one.
    • Now add seasoned chicken to it and cook for about 3 minutes. Also add coriander and chili powder.
    • Now add 3-4 cups of water acc to your taste. Add salt also (don’t forget that you already have added salt while marinating the chicken).
    • Stir everything properly.
    • Now place the skillet over high flame. Cover the skillet with lid. Cook for about 8-10 minutes. Once the steam starts coming out from the skillet reduce the flame to low.
    • Now remove the lid and add all the grinded paste to the chicken and boil it.
    • You can add water if you find the gravy is getting thicker.
    • If you find that the gravy is too watery then you can add coriander and chili powder.
    • Stir everything properly. As you see that each and everything is perfect, gravy is properly cooked, switch off the flame.
    • Now add lemon juice and stir it properly 9 you must remember that lemon juice should be added only when you switched off the flame, otherwise your gravy will turn into bitter taste.)
    • Now chicken Kozhambu is ready. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

    Some Useful Tips

    • This is a little bit thick gravy. But you can add water if you like it to be light.
    • Homemade curry Masala can also be used instead of coriander powder and green chilies.
