Brief Description
Follow this recipe and learn how to make a lifafa paratha. It is very popular breakfast recipe which goes well with pickles, curd or curry. It is very delectable and mouth- watering dish.
Ingredients of Lifafa Paratha
- Plain Flour- 2 cups
- Milk- 1 cup
- Melted Ghee- 1 tbsp
- Grated Paneer- ¼ cup
- Grated Cauliflower- ½ cup
- Finely Chopped Ginger- ½ tsp
- Chopped Green Chilies- 1 tsp
- Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
- Ghee/ Butter
- Salt as Required
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 25 minutes Servings 4 How to make Lifafa Paratha
- Mix grated cauliflower, green chilies, paneer, finely chopped ginger, coriander and salt in a bowl and keep aside this mixture.
- Take another bowl and mix flour, melted ghee, salt and milk. Knead it into soft dough. Add water if necessary.
- Roll out a roti from a small portion of the dough.
- Raost it lightly on the tawa.
- Now put some stuffing on it and spread it evenly. And cover 1 half with the other forming a packet.
- Apply some more ghee. Butter and cook it till done.
- Lifafa paratha are ready to be served.
Some Useful Tips
- Lifafa paratha should be served hot with curd or pickle.
- You can also use mint water instead of milk.
