Brief Description
Follow this recipe and learn how to make a masala egg paratha. It is very popular breakfast recipe which goes well with pickles and curd.
Ingredients of Masala Egg Paratha
- Simple Parantha/ roti dough
- ½ a Egg for Every Parantha
- Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- Finely Chopped Onions
- Finely Chopped Cilantro
- Finely Chopped Green Chilies
- Salt as Needed
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 30 minutes Servings 4 How to make Masala Egg Paratha
- Break the eggs and whip them together with other ingredients.
- Take the dough and make golf ball size balls out of them. Then roll them into a flat shape.
- Coat it with a bit of ghee and sprinkle some flour on it.
- Fold over the disk into a semi circle shape.
- Further fold it into a triangular shape.
- Put it on a hot tawa.
- Wait till it puffs up and split it open with a butter knife.
- Now put in approx half an egg worth mixture into the pocket and close it.
- Let it cook on low flame for 20-30 seconds and then flip it over and press a bit to make sure the egg mixture inside gets cooked properly. Even if some of it spills out it is alright.
- It should be served hot or kept in an insulated container.
- Goes well with chutneys or ketchup.
