Brief Description
Methi leaves or Fenugreek leaves has number of health benefits which helps in overall well being of human being. They are rich in Antioxidant, iron, vitamin C, Calcium, riboflavin, Magnesium, Potassium, and also these are a good source of fiber. It is also beneficial for diabetic patients. So make a habit of including it in your diet once in a week.
Ingredients of Methi Paratha
- Sabzi of Methi
- Whole Wheat Flour (Gehun Ka Atta) as Per Your Requirement
- Salt as Required
- Butter/ Oil For Frying
How to make Methi Paratha
- Mix Whole wheat flour with water in a bowl and make dough 15 minutes before. Cover it with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside.
- Now mash the vegetables of methi completely with spoon
- Add salt according to your taste.
- Now make thick balls from dough and give them a disc shape slightly thicker than normal.
- Put the mixture into the center of the roti and make the roll again.
- Seal the edges of the roll properly so that stuffing would not be able to come out.
- Now starting Flatten again these rolls into disc shape by roller like as u do normally.
- Pre-heat the tava. Put the disc shaped roll upon it, apply some oil towards its edges, turn it, again apply oil on the paratha and cook until color changes to light brown.
- Now serve hot with dahi or any kind of butter.

Some Useful Tips
Add some finely chopped onions to your vegetable if they are less in quantity.
