Chicken Marsala With Mushroom
Brief Description
Chicken Marsala Mushroom is an Italian dish. It is really very easy to make. It is made with pieces of mushrooms and rich wine sauce. It can be made within 30 minutes.
Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 20 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Chicken Marsala With Mushroom
- All purpose flour - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Grounded black Pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Dried oregano - 1/2 tsp
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 4 halves (pounded 1/4 inch thick)
- Butter - 4 tbsp
- Olive oil - 4 tbsp
- Mushrooms thinly sliced - 1 cup
- Marsala wine - 1/2 cup
- Cooking sherry - 1/4 cup
How to make Chicken Marsala With Mushroom
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients (flour, pepper, salt, and oregano). Apply a coat of this mixture to the chicken.
- Now in a skillet, heat up some butter over low flame. Put flour coated chicken into the skillet, and cook until the chicken color changes to light brown.
- Turn the chicken pieces and now add mushroom pieces to it. Also put wine sauce and sherry.
- Cover the skillet with the lid. Cook on low flame for about 10 minutes.
- Cook until the chicken becomes tender and all of its juices run clear.

Some Useful Tips
- One can increase or decrease the quantity of green chilies into the chicken according to your taste.
- The chicken can be greased with butter and can be cooked in an oven instead of following the above process.
