Brief Description
Follow this recipe and learn how to make a broccoli paratha. It is very popular breakfast recipe which goes well with pickles and curd.
Ingredients of Broccoli Paratha
For The Dough
- Wheat Flour- 3 cups
- Oil/Ghee- 1 tbsp
- Salt to Taste
- Warm Water
For The Stuffing
- Finely Chopped Broccoli- 1
- Finely Chopped Green Chilies- 1 or 2
- Finely Chopped Medium Onion- 1
- Coconut(Grated)-1
- Chopped Coriander/ Cilantro Leaves- 1tsp
- Sugar- half tsp
- Salt to Taste
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 25 minutes Servings 4 How to make Broccoli Paratha
- Prepare the dough with flour, oil, salt and warm water. Make sure you knead the dough stiff enough for a roti/ paratha. Let it sit for the time you prepare stuffing.
- Prepare the stuffing by mixing broccoli, grated coconut, chopped onions, green chilies, sugar and salt altogether.
- Make two rotis from medium sized balls of dough.
- Heat up a non- stick pan or tawa and brush it with some oil. Put a roti on the heated tawa and when it’s slightly done place some of the already prepared stuffing on it.
- Then put another roti on top of it and seal them together.
- Brush both sides with oil/ghee and fry till both sides are golden brown in color.
- Use imli chutney or pickles to serve along with it.
