Brief Description
Peas stuffed paratha is popular dish in northern parts of India. It is most convenient suffed paratha than others. Peas are considered as green vegetable. Peas are rich in iron. You can have this delicious and tasty paratha with yogurt or any kind of pickle.
Ingredients of Peas Stuffed Paratha
For Dough
- Wheat Flour – 1 cup
- Salt Acc to Taste
- Water for Dough
For Peas Stuffing
- Cooked and Pureed Peas 1 cup
- Paste of Green Chili 1 tsp
- Salt Acc to Taste
- Cumin Powder 1/2 tablespoon
- Garam Masala 1/2 tablespoon
- Amchur 1/4 tablespoon
For Cooking
- Oil
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 25 minutes Servings 4 How to make Peas Stuffed Paratha
- Mix wheat flour and salt in a bowl to make dough. Knead it properly. Keep aside for some time.
- Mix all the ingredients into a pan for stuffing, and make a dry paste.
- Make small balls from the dough.
- Give them a disc shape, place 1 tablespoon of stuffing in the center of the disc.
- Seal the edges of the disc properly.
- Now dust stuffed balls by flour and again give them a disc shape like a roti.
- Preheat a non stick pan and cook from both the sides.
Some Useful Tips
Add little amount of salt into the flour, because peas also contain some salt into it.
