Chicken Dry Curry
Brief Description
Chicken dry curry is a delicious dry chicken dish. It is cooked with coconut milk which is based on thick white curry. Lemon juice and coconut powder makes it more delicious.
Preparation Time 30 mins Cooking Time 30 mins Serves 4 Ingredients For Chicken Dry Curry
- Ghee- 60gms
- Thinly sliced onion - 2
- Thinly sliced garlic and clove -2
- Curry powder – 2 tablespoon
- Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
- Pieces of chicken -1 1/2 kg
How to make Chicken Dry Curry
- Heat ghee in a sauce pan, add onions and garlic to it, cook until onions becomes tender.
- Add tomato paste and curry powder into the pan, cook for about 3 minutes.
- Now add chicken pieces into the pan, mix it properly, cover the pan, and cook over low flame for about 45 minutes. Make sure that the chicken becomes tender.
- Now to make the gravy thick add lemon juice and coconut powder to the mixture. This will absorb the excess gravy.
- Dry chicken curry is ready to eat.

Some Useful Tips
- Contents could be sticky while cooking. You have to monitor the pan continuously. If there would be the requirement of water then add sufficient amount of water into the pan.
- Dry curry can be eaten with naan, flour tortilla, bread, etc.
