Brief Description
Follow this recipe and learn how to make a chili paratha. It is very popular breakfast recipe which goes well with pickles and curd.
Ingredients of Chili Paratha
- Six Frozen Paranthas.
(let them sit and wait for them to be at room temperature) - 1 Can of Chick Pea
- 1 Julienned Capsicum
- 2 tomatoes cut Into Big Chunks.
- 1 Julienned Onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- A bit of Cinnamon
- 5-6 Cloves
- 2-3 Bay Leaves
- 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1-2 tbsp of Butter
- Coriander Leaves
- Cashew Nuts
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 25 minutes Servings 4 How to make Chili Paratha
- Heat up a pan and then drop in some butter.
- Throw in all the spices and sauté them up.
- Drop in ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes and onions.
- Then add coriander powder, garam masala and salt to taste.
- Add the cooked chick peas and mix it thoroughly.
- Now tear those parathas into small pieces and throw then into the masala.
- Let it all cook till parathas and masala all come together.
- Drop in some of lemon juice.
- Finally garnish it all with cashew nuts and fresh coriander leaves.
