Chicken Shashlik
Brief Description
Chicken Shashlik recipe is an easy recipe. It is a delicious Chinese dish.
Preparation Time 20 mins Cooking Time 15 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Chicken Shashlik
- Boneless chicken breast - 500 gms
- Finely chopped Capsicum - 2
- Finely chopped Onions - 2 medium
- Finely chopped Tomatoes - 2 medium
- Lemon juice - 1/4 cups
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Hot sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oil for shallow fry
How to make Chicken Shashlik
- Make pieces of chicken of 1 inch sizes.
- Put these chicken pieces into a big bowl. Add black pepper, lemon juice, soya sauce, salt ,and hot sauce.
- Mix it well, cover the bowl and keep aside for about 2-3 hrs to get marinate.
- Now skew the marinated pieces of chicken and vegetables onto the bamboo sticks.
- Warm some oil in a big wok.
- Cook skewers until the chicken becomes tender and change its color and all the vegetables becomes soft.
- Now take out the skewers from the wok and place them on an absorbent sheet.
- Garnish the skewers with mint leaves and lemon juices.
- Serve immediately with mint chutney.
Chicken Shashlik
Some Useful Tips
- If you prefer making paste of garlic, ginger, and fresh chili at home, then don’t forget to add canola/ sunflower/ or vegetable oil to it. Mix it well. Refrigerate it and use as if required.
