Adadiya
Brief Description
Adadiya is one of the most famous traditional winter sweet treat in Gujarat and it is more delicious sweet of the Kutch region in Gujarat. It has helpful for keeping warm body during winter season. It is made up with using some ingredients like Flour of Urad Dal (Black Gram Dal/Arad Ni Dal), almond powder, ganthola powder, batrisu.
Time to Prepare Minutes-15 Time for cooking Minutes-60 Serves Pieces-25-30 Ingredients For Adadiya
- Karkaro chana dal flour - 250 gms
- Karkaro urad flour - 75 gms
- Ghee - 325 gms
- Almond powder - 50 gms
- Powdered magasthari - 50 gms
- Batrisu - 25 gms
- Ganthola powder - 3 tbsp
- Snooth powder - 3 tbsp
- Powdered fenugreed seeds (optional) - 2 tbsp
- Sugar - 325 gms
How to make Adadiya
- Take ghee in pan on medium flame and add Black Gram Dal Flour and heat it till the pink. Set aside.
- Similarly, Take some ghee in a pan on average heat, add chana dal flour and heat it till the brown.
- Now blend both the flour in a pan completely.
- Remove the pan from the heat.
- In the mixture, add all ingredients and knead it well.
- Now add resting ghee & knead it properly. Make sure layer of ghee should be visible in the mixture.
- Mixture spread out in ghee and garnished it with almonds and pistachio. Keep aside.
- Make pieces as per your taste after 8-10 hours.
