Gol papadi
Brief Description
This is a Gujarati special sweet dish. Gol Papadi is easy and quick to make, when you have emergent friends at home, Then it is the best dish to make. Gol Papadi make easily by following this recipe.
Ingredients For Gol papadi
- Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup
- Grated Jaggery - 1/3 cup
- Poppy Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee - 4 tbsp
How to make Gol Papadi
- Take a greased plate, garnish the poppy seeds and set aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add wheat flour, stirring it nicely till they change color brown or golden. Switch off the gas.
- Add the cardamom powder and jiggery. Keep stirring it continuously till the jiggery melt.
- Take them out mixture into the greased plate and add the poppy seeds, still hot.
- Take a bowl and spread it nicely in the small bowl.
- Once the mixture set, then cut it into the diamond pieces.
- Now the Gol Papadi is ready for enjoy eating and serve.

Some Useful Tips
- When the mixture is too hard, you can use 1 tbsp milk and jiggery to it.
- When you make for kids, you should be use chocolate powder.
- As per your taste, you can use grinded dry fruits.
