Mohan Thaal

Time to Prepare Minutes - 30 Time for cooking Minutes - 40-60 Serves People - 4 Ingredients For MohanThaal
- 180 gms - Bengal Gram Flour
- 160 gms - Coarsely grounde Ghee
- 4 - Cardamom, powdered
For the Sugar Syrup:
- 200 gms - Sugar
- 180 ml - Water
- 30 ml - Milk
For the Garnish:
- 2 tblsp - Almonds chopped
- 2 tblsp - Pistachios chopped
How to make Mohanthal
- In a pan, heat ghee and add gram flour to it. Blend well with the help of your palms till the resemble bread crumbs.
- In a pan, heat remaining ghee and mix the flour. Keep stirring regularly till they change color golden.
- Now switch off the gas and keep aside to cool properly.
- To make sugar syrup, Boil water with sugar and cook on average heat about 10-15 minutes.
- Now add milk to it and remove the impurities with the help of a spoon. Allow to cook it till the preferred consistency is reached.
- Mix the browned gram flour and blend properly.
- Transfer into a greased plate and spread gently.
- Sprinkle with pistachios and almonds chopped and keep aside to cool completely.
- Now divide into squares.
- If preferred, garnish with silver plate before garnishing pistachios and almonds.
