Doodhpak
Brief Description
Doodh Paak is a delicious dessert of Gujarat. It is one of the famous typical Guajarati sweet dish as others. Doodh Paak is especially prepared during marriages and weddings.
Preparation Time Minute – 7 Time to cook Minutes – 20-30 Serves Pieces - 4 Ingredients For Doodh Paak
- ½ cup - Almonds
- 1 tsp - Cardamom powder
- 1000 ml - Milk
- 1 tbsp - Pistachios
- 1 ½ tbsp - Raisins
- 1 tsp - Saffron
- 250 grams - Sugar
How to make Doodh Paak:
- Put the almonds in a hot water for few time. Decorticate and grate it well to make paste. Add the saffron in the hot milk and set aside.
- Take the deep pan and boil the milk, add the paste (almond) and cook it for ½-hour. Stirring it properly.
- Now mix the sugar, pistachios, saffron and raisins. Simmer it till thick. Garnish cardamom powder.
- Serve chilled or warm as per your taste.
Some Useful Tips
- You can prefer the ½ cup rice instead of almonds as per your taste.
