Brief Description
Desserts are the dish that usually eats after dinner. Rasmalai riscotta cheese is very famous Indian dessert. Ras malai is made up of panner balls soaked in yellow color of cream with thick milk (malai) and sugar. It is flavored by cardamom for more taste.
Cooking Time 30-45 mins Preparation Time 25 mins Serves 8 Ingredients for Rasmalai Ricotta Cheese
Several ingredients make it state better and enjoyable. All of them are given below to prepare rasmalai ricotta cheese in appropriate quantity.
- Riscotta Cheese 15 oz /425 grams/ 1 tub ( I Preferred Part Skim)
- Milk 4 Cups ( I Preferred 2% Milk/ Whole Milk Is Usable)
- Pistachio /Almonds (Chopped In Fine Particles For Garnishing)
- Saffron4-5 Strands
- 1 Cup ½ and ½ ( Optional, Whole Milk Is Of No Use)
- Cardamom Powder ½ tsp
- Sugar ½-¾ Cups (use fewer if sweet is not your liking), And Note That Milk Can Be Sweet
- Sugar 3/4 Cup
How To Make Rasmalai Ricotta Cheese
- Heat oven up to 350 degree F
- Mix sugar and ricotta cheese properly in bowl.(Assure the absence of water in it)
- For draining water, a cloth of cheese wrapped around container (after lid opening) and turns the container upside down for about an hour.
- Take a dish for baking (preferred square), spread mixture of ricotta sugar after greasing to make it half inch in thickness. Assurance of even spreading is very necessary mainly in center.
- Bake them for about forty to forty-five minutes until the formation of brown pale green color at top by inserting knife at middle.
- It needs to keep a close look during baking and assure it does not become more brownish; otherwise, the part of ricotta will taste bad.
- After it cooling, cut them in the shapes that you desire like diamonds/ squares/circles. Squares pieces are good.
Rasmalai Ricotta Cheese
Some Useful Tips
It needs to clean all the raw material in running water before it is use for cooking. Chopping and cutting should be fine for more delicacy. If you find out less water in it, it is good as it goes dry while baking. Use appropriate amount of ingredients for perfect taste.
