Ingredients for Deep Fried Fish:
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Milk - 1/2 Cup
- Eggs
- Water - 1/2 Cup
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Baking Powder - 1 tbsp
- Flour - 1 Cup
- Fish Fillets Of One-Fourth Or Half Inch Thick
Make sure to clean the fish pieces properly before use in warm water. Similarly clean the onions and garlic clove in the cold water. The milk used should be fresh or stored in a refrigerator. Different types of fish can be used for this recipe like bass, crappie, walleye, bluegill and perch. The oil should be heated at 350 degrees for the preparation. The egg mixture should be coated on the fish pieces. Then put the pieces into the batter mixture before frying. Deep fry the fish pieces at 350 degrees till the pieces becomes crispy and golden brown. Drain the fish pieces on a paper piece or towel. In place of milk you can also use water.
How To Make Deep Fried Fish
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix the liquids together by stirring constantly. Make sure that the lumps are dissolved and the batter looks smooth.
- Dip fish fillets into the batter
- Put some oil in a pan and heat
- Fry the fillets deep until they turn golden brown.
- The delicious deep fried fish is ready for serving

- The fish should be fried well in order to make it tasty.
- One should take the part of the fish that is fleshy with minimum bones and is called as ‘peti’ in bengali.
- While adding dahi or yogurt to the recipe the flame should be kept low in order to avoid cuddling.
