Total time for Preparation Fifteen minutes Total Cooking Time Thirty minutes Servings Four serves Ingredients for Tel Koi:-
- 500 gram of Koi Fish
- 1 tablespoon of Coriander Powder
- 1 tablespoon of Chili Powder
- 1/2 tablespoon of Cumin Powder
- 50 gram of Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of Turmeric Powder
- 1 tablespoon of Ginger Paste
- 6 fresh Green Chillies
- 200 gram of Mustard Oil
- 1 fresh Bay Leaf
- Add Salt To Taste
How To Make Tel Koi
- First, wash the fish thoroughly, apply salt and the turmeric to it, and leave it for a while.
- Then, heat the oil in a pan and then fry the fishes properly, and keep them aside.
- Now, add the remaining oil in the pan and fry the fresh bay leaf, cumin, ginger and the 2 slit chilies.
- Now, combine the ginger paste, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix it well.
- Then, fry it thoroughly until the oil separates and after that add yogurt.
- Then, add a cup of water, requisite salt and rest of the chillies and stir it well.
- Now, simmer it on the low heat until it dries up and the oil separates.
- Then, remove the Tel Koi from the fire and you can serve your delicious recipe and may enjoy it.
