- Pieces Of Fish – 500 grams
- Gram Flour – 1 cup
- Sliced Tomatoes – 2
- Chopped Green Chili – 1
- Turmeric Powder - ½ tbsp
- Fresh Bread Crumbs - 3 tbsp
- Powdered Red Chili - ½ tbsp
- Powdered Black Pepper - ½ tbsp
- Water - 2 cups
- Fresh Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
- Coriander Leaves – 3 to 4
- Frying Oil
Make sure to wash the fish pieces in cold water before use. Also put the flour inside a large plastic bag. Make sure you add the pieces of fish one by one at definite time intervals. Now seal the bag and toss the bag to get the fish pieces coated.
After heating the oil in a pan dip the fish pieces coated with flour one by one and fry. The flame should be medium and add some cornstarch and a little soda. Let the pieces become pinkish brown. Now in a different pan heat some oil. Once the oil is hot put the fish pieces soaked in batter in the hot oil to fry. Fry on a low flame on both sides of the fish. Now the fish is ready to serve.
How To Make Batter Fried Fish Preparation
- Make a mixture of turmeric and salt and apply it on the fish and leave it for half an hour.
- Make a paste of pepper, chili powder, gram flour, bread crumbs and water. Also add some coriander leafs to the mixture.
- Put some oil in a pan and heat it.
- Now nicely apply batter on the fish and fry it on a low flame until it turns golden brown.
- Garnish the recipe with tomato and lemon.
