Ledikeni
Brief Description
Ledikeni is similar to rasgulla. This delicious sweet treat is more popular in Bengal. It is made up with fresh cootage cheese, which you can make at home, Boil the full cream milk and curdle it by adding lemon juice. Stirring it continuously until the desired consistency is reached. Then drained the cheese by using muslin cloth and squeeze the chhena and dry it.

- 1 kg - Paneer
- 50 gms - Suji
- 25 gms - Khoya
- 2 tsp - Ghee
- Oil for frying
- 1 kg - Sugar
How to make Ledikeni
- To prepare Ledikeni, Add all the ghee, paneer and suji. Knead it well informing of dough.
- To make sugar syrup, Take a pan and boil the water with sugar at medium heat. Keep stirring continuously till the desired consistency is reached.
- Now take a part of the dough and level out it.
- Set the some khoya in the middle and roll it into the circular shaped with your palms.
- Using all the dough similarly.
- Take a deep frying pan and heat the oil, and fry the roll till they change in brown color.
- Now take them out the rolls and set it into sugar syrup, and soak for a day before serve it.
