Brief Description
Cham cham is one of the most popular Bengali sweet that is famous in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is really easy to make at home with freshly prepared cheese (chena). To make the cham cham, Keep the Cham Cham for boiling after that it set aside for cooling completely and materials it as per your favorite filling. Cham Cham is more tasty at comparison normal Rasgulla.
Time to Prepare Minutes - 20 Time for cooking Minutes -30-40 Serves Pieces - 4 Ingredients For Cham cham
- Paneer - 450 gms
- Water - 4 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Rose Water - 2-3 tablespoon
- Saffron strands – As per your taste
- Double Cream/Fresh Thickened- 200gms
How to make Cham Cham
- In a bowl, add the paneer and blend it well until remove the all lumps in it and the cottage cheese is completely smooth.
- Take a pressure cooker and add the sugar and water at medium heat. Meantime chhena is converted into the form of chamcham.
- Now the chhena dough divided into the equal parts and rolls each part nicely like a smooth oval shaped ball.
- Now sugar syrup has started boiling transfer the balls one by one in a pressure cooker. Wait for first whistle, hold it for 5-10 minutes then switch off the burner.
- Now keep the cooker in any utensil carrying cold water for cooling completely or quickly.
- After cooling Chamcham pour the saffron strands and rose water in it and wait few hours for chill.
- In the syrup, dispatch the chamchams and set aside
- Now fresh cream whisk until the Cham-Cham fluffy and concentric. Collect it into an icing bag and pipe a sliver out onto each chamcham.
- Store the chamcham in freezer for few days and ready for enjoy eating.
