Vegetable Stuffed Chapati

Brief Description
Vegetable stuffed chapattis are stuffed with fresh/leftover vegetables. Serve it with raita or plain dahi.
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 15 minutes Servings 5 Ingredients of Vegetable Stuffed Chapati
For Chapatti
- Whole Wheat Flour -200 g
- Oil- 1 tablespoon
- Water- 125 ml
For Filling
- Fennel Powder- 1 tablespoon
- Finely Chopped 1 onion
- Minced Ginger- 2 cm
- Finely Chopped Green Chilies- 2
- Garam Masala Powder- 3 tablespoon
- Finely Chopped Cauliflower- 350 gm
- Boiled, Peeled, And Sliced Medium Potatoes- 3
- Soft Peas- 100
- Salt Acc to Taste
How to make Vegetable Stuffed Chapati
For Chapatti
- Mix wheat flour, some oil, and water in a bowl. Mix it well. Make a soft dough by kneading it properly.
- Keep it aside for about ½ hour.
- Now make 8 equal portions of rolls from dough, give them a disc shape.
- Place these roti one by one on a hot tava and cook on both sides until color changes.
- Keep them aside.
For Stuffing
- Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry fennel powder for 30 sec.
- Now add all the ingredients to the oil and fry till the mixture gets dry.
- Now place 2 tablespoon of stuffing to the edges of the chapatti, roll it properly, and serve it with dahi or any kind if raita.
Some Useful Tips
- Try it with stuffed chicken or boiled aloo.
- Try to make stuffing as dry as possible. Use less oil.
- Also try this with the stuffing of mushroom and capsicum Masala.
