Brief Description
It is difficult to make it in a one go, but with practice you can master it.
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 30 minutes Servings 10 Ingredients of Rice Roti
For Stuffing.
- Thin Slices of Paneer-1 cup
- Finely Chopped Green Chillies-2
- Turmeric Powder -1/8 tablespoon
- Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves- 2 tablespoon
- Oil 1 tablespoon
- Salt Acc to Taste
For Rice Roti
- Rice Flour- 1/2 cup
- Boiled Rice -1/3 cup
- Salt Acc to Taste
- Oil for Cooking and Brushing.
How to make Rice Roti
For Rice Roti
- Make puree of boiled rice by blending it and adding some water.
- Now add rice flour, salt, and enough water to the mixture to make dough. Knead it well.
- Now make 12 equal portions of dough and give them a disc shape like a roti.
- Cook these roti’s on a hot griddle. Keep them aside for a while.
For Stuffing
- In a pan, heat the oil; add some cumin seeds, salt, finely chopped green chilies, and onion. Cook till the color of onion turns into light brown.
- Now to the mixture add carrots, chopped coriander, thin sliced paneer, turmeric powder, and salt. Leave it for 3-4 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool. Now divide 12 equal portions of the mixture.
Procedure
- Place one portion of stuffing in the middle of the roti.
- Now seal the egdes of the roti by collecting them. Roll them again like a roti by roller.
- Now place the stuffed roti on hot griddle and cook by applyin some oil to it, till the color change to light brown.
- Repeat the same process with the remaining rolls.
