His deep fried dish made by poha serves as breakfast menu in majority of homes as a light snack. Poha vada preparation looks wonderful if tried with pudina chutney. With high content of calories, this particular poha vada recipe provides instant energy when taken hot in afternoon. This crispy foodstuff is delight for adults and small children due to its crackling taste. Poha vada is mainly prepared in the regions of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Poha vada looks tastier when served hot along with tea and chutney as morning or afternoon snack.
Preparation Time 15 minutes Cooking Time 40 minutes Serves 4-6 Ingredients for Poha Vada:-
- 300 Gram Of Poha
- 50 Gram Of Besan Or Gram Flour
- 1/2 Tablespoon Of Turmeric
- One To Two Tablespoon Of Rice Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Of Red Chilly Powder
- 1 Green Chili In Chopped Form
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt For Taste
- 1/2 Tablespoon Of Ginger And Garlic Paste
- 1 Tablespoon Of Mango Powder In Dry Form
How To MakePoha Vada
- Soak the raw pha until it becomes soft
- After that mash the stuff to produce soft pulp
- Add besan, rice flour, turmeric, salt, ginger and garlic paste, Red Chili Powder along with amchoor in order to produce vada after mixing of all in required quantity
- Heat the oil properly and deep fry it to start the procedure of cooking
- Serve entire poha vada preparation along with tamarind chutney
Some Useful Tips
Drain out water from poha after washing them properly in order to initiate the poha vada recipe. After mixing of all the required ingredients keep frying the vadas until they turn deep brown in appearance.
