Keema Rice Preparation Time
Time required for preparing this dish you are required to have 15 minutes and further 30-45 minutes are required for cooking this dish. In order to serve this recipe to five individuals you can go in for the following instructions.
Ingredients for Keema Rice
In order to make this recipe you are required to use the instructions as provided in the following recipe.
- Minced Mutton (at least 250 gm)
- 2 Cups Of Rice That Has Long Grains
- Two Cups Of Plain Yogurt
- Half A Cup Kasundi
- Half Tablespoon Of Black-Cumin-Seeds
- Three Tablespoon Of Ghee
- Four Pieces Of Green Chilies
- Salt According To Taste
- Half A Cup Of Onion Paste
- Two Teaspoons Of Paste Of Ginger
- Two Teaspoons Of Paste Of Garlic
- One Tbsp Chili Paste
- A Quarter Cup Of Sunflower Oil
- Two Tablespoons Of Mustard Oil
- Two Tablespoons Of Garam-Masala That Is Powdered
- Sugar In Accordance With Taste.
How to Make Keema Rice
- First of all rice are rinsed with ice cold water and it is soaked for at least 30 minutes
- Until rice is cooked to softness, it is boiled and after boiling it is kept aside for a while.
- Now meat is boiled and it is drained softly.
- In the heavy bottomed pan sunflower oil is heated and in the next step spice pastes are fried.
- After it is cooked, meat is added in the same and after that it is further fried for few more minutes.
- After adding garam masal it is stirred well.
- Remaining ghee is heated and seeds of cumin are added in the same.
- Half a layer of sugar, rice and salt and it is removed immediately.
- Now cooked meat is spread and in the last rice layer is spread.
- In the next step yogurt is blended along with mustard oil, kasundi as well as chili.
- It is served further with more layers of rice.
Other Tips
Once prepared it is better if you serve the food as it is hot.
