Brief Description
The ingredients of leaf roll recipe are easily available and the recipe uses all the easy and simple techniques for cooking. This leaf roll recipe is very famous as the blend of flavors n this recipe is perfect and it tastes very nice on cooking. Leaf roll preparation is very easy but small things should be taken care to preserve the flavors of the dish.
Time of preparation 30 min Time of cooking 45 min Serving 4-5 people Ingredients For Leaf Rolls:-
- ¼ Ounce of packaged active yeast in dry from
- Half cup water that is lukewarm at the temperature between 110-115 degrees Fahrenheit
- One and one fourth cup of lukewarm milk
- Half bowl of sugar
- One egg
- One fourth cup shortening
- 2 Tsp salt
- 5 1/2 Cups of flour of all purpose
For Tempering:
- A Bunch of fresh finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Half Red or yellow bell peppers that are cut into very thin slices
How To Make The Recipe
Take a big mixing bowl and dilute the yeast by putting water into it. Beat milk with sugar, egg, salt, shortening and flour. Take just two cups of flour and beat the mixture until it turns very smooth. Keep stirring enough amount of flour so that it may form soft dough. Turn this mixture into a floured surface and then keep pressing the mixture and make it very smoothly elastic. Do this process for 6 to eight minutes. Place this into a greased bowl and turn it into once by a grease top. Now cover this dough and allow it to rise in a warm place until it gets double. This process will take 1 hour. After this, punch the dough down. Now this puffed roll should be made into 90 small balls and three balls should be there in each greasy muffin cup. Cover the muffins and let them get rise. Rising will be seen after 45 minutes. Bake these muffins to get leaf roll preparation at the temperature of 375 degrees. This will take 12 to 14 minutes. Cool the recipe on the racks of wire.

Some Useful Tips
It should be made sure that the leaves that are made should be very tender in nature and should look very bright in color. You should cut the part of stem or base if it is thick as it may not allow the leaf to be soft and tender. Each leaf should be rolled very lightly with the help of rolling pins as this will flatten the veins that are present on the leaf. You should place hot boiling water for some minutes and then you should drain, dab and follow all the instructions above.
