Brief Description
Basic Marzipan is a great Almond Marzipan recipe for plummeting in chocolate or for forming the figurines. By using this as a concrete base, you can color it, flavor it, or can form marzipan into lots of different decorations or candies. If anyone is planning to eat the marzipan, then cut it into square shape in order to eat it in easy way. Anyone can follow the simple steps for the Almond Marzipan Preparation.
Preparation Time Thirty minutes Cooking Time Ten minutes Serves Eight Ingredients For Almond Marzipan:-
- Granulated sugar around two cups
- Almonds around four cup
- 1/8 Tsp cream of tartar
- Sugar powder sugar for coating
- 2 Egg whites
How To Make Almond Marzipan
- First, arrange for a suitable place where you should sprinkle fine sugar powder on place where to need to prepare it. Then collect chilled water somewhere in utensil.
- Secondly, place the sugar and 2/3 cup of water in a large saucepan and heat gently, stir it, until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Thirdly, add tartar cream and then turn up the heat. Bring to a boil and then cover it, boil it for three minutes.
- Next, you have to let the preparation to cool down at room temperature so that all the ingredients mixes well.
- Now, mix white portion of egg and almonds. Then again put it on low flame. Do not forget to mix it continuously for about two minutes so that the fusion turns out to be thick.
- Now, you need to spread your prepared material on flat area. Use a spatula for it so that it settles down quickly.
- Then you will have to sprinkle sugar that if finely crushed from before on your hands. Now you can start making marzipan.
- Now, your marzipan can now be served immediately or may be stored by wrapping it in a plastic wrap and then keeping it in an airtight container.

Some Useful Tips
- Knead the portions of marzipan with few drops of food coloring until one gets the desirable shade.
- In case you do not want your batter to get stiffness, you should always knead with help of white portion of egg, juice of corn as well as water.
