Brief Description
Spicy paneer naan is a really very tasty dish. Everyone loves paneer to have. It is very easy to prepare. You can make at home very easily.
Total Preparation Time 10 minutes Total Cooking Time 10 minutes Servings 4 Ingredients of Spicy Paneer Naan
For The Dough
- Maida - 500 grams
- Fresh yeast - 20 grams or Dry Yeast - 2 teaspoon
- Ghee/ Butter - 25 grams
- Fresh Curd - 2 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1½ teaspoon
- Salt Acc to Taste
For The Stuffing
- Grated Paneer - 100 grams
- Finely Chopped Onion - 1
- Finely Chopped Green Chilies – 3 to 4
- Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves - 2 tablespoon
- Salt as Per Requirement
How to make Spicy Paneer Naan
- Clean the all purpose flour properly.
- Now mix sugar and yeast into a cup of water. Mix till the yeast gets dissolve. Cover the mixture. Wait till the mixture gets bubbles.
- Now add this mixture to the flour, also add ghee, salt, and curd to the flour. Make a soft dough using luke warm water.
- Mold the dough for about 6-7 minutes.
- Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes knead the dough again.
- Now mix all the ingredients very well to make a homogeneous mixture for stuffing.
- Make 20 small balls from the dough. Give them a disc shape.
- Now take one disc, place one tablespoon of the mixture into the center of the disc.
- Collect the edges of the disc seal them properly. Make a roll again.
- Now apply some oil into the pressure cooker.
- Remove the lid and heat the pressure cooker from both sides.
- Now take each naan, apply some water on one side of it, and place the naan on the walls of the pressure cooker from inside until brown spot appears.
- Repeat the same procedure with the remaining naans.
- Now the naan is cooked. Take it out and apply some butter over it.
- Naan is ready to eat.
Some Useful Tips
You can make naan as you make roti or poori. Also you can add cumin seeds and cardamom to the dough to give it a sweet taste.
You can also add finely chopped green chilies to the stuffing.
