Brief Description
Prepare a very tasteful and delectable onion kulcha recipe by following these simple steps.
Total Preparation Time 15 minutes Total Cooking Time 10 minutes Servings 4 Ingredients of Onion Kulcha
Wheat Flour- 5cups
For Stuffing
- Chopped Onions- 3
- Chopped Green Chilies- 2tbsp
- Chopped Coriander Leaves- 2tbsp
- Some Mint Leaves
- Chopped Ginger- 1 tsp
- Carrum Seeds(Ajwain)- 1tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1tsp
- Pomegranate Seeds(Coarsely Ground)- 1 tbsp
- Salt as Needed
How to make Onion Kulcha
- Using flour and water prepare the dough. It needs to be a little hard. Let it rest for an hour.
- Make four equal sized balls out of the dough.
- Mix chopped onions, green chillies, coriander, mint leaves together, and then add carrum seeds and seasoning.
- Stuff this mixture into the each ball proportionately and then seal it in by pinching the edges together.
- Use a rolling pin to roll the kulchas. Put the kulchas on a plate and then slide them into an oven to be grilled for 10 minutes on both sides.

Some Useful Tips
Make the kulchas just as you would make a roti. Cumin seeds or cardamom powder could be added to the dough if needed. Though keep in mind that cardamom powder will make it a bit sweet.
