Brief Description

Time for Preparation Fifteen minutes Time for Cooking One hour Serves for Four Ingredients For Lamb Cooked With Apricot:-
- Two tablespoon of Olive oil
- Five fifty grams of cubed lean lamb
- One finely chopped onion
- Two crushed cloves of Garlic
- Seven hundred milliliter of lamb or chicken stock
- Juice of one Orange and grinned and grated zest
- One stick of cinnamon
- One tablespoon of clear honey
- One seventy five grams of dehydrated ready-to-eat apricots
- Three tablespoon of freshly chopped mint
- Twenty five grams of grounded almonds
- Twenty five grams of toasted flaked almonds
- Couscous and steamed broccoli
How To Make Lamb Cooked With Apricot
- Take a large flameproof casserole and heat Oil in it. Add the lamb and fry and stir often over a medium-high heat for three to four minutes until it changes into evenly brown color. Take out the cooked lamb into a plate.
- Add chopped onion and garlic into the casserole and cook lightly for five minutes until the mixture soften. Put the cooked lamb into the vessel. Add the zest and juice, stock, honey and cinnamon, salt and pepper for taste into the lamb mixture. Cook it until it simmers and then reduce the heat. Cover the vessel and cook it for one hour.
- Add the apricots and two-thirds of the freshly chopped mint and cook for half an hour until the lamb becomes tender. Put grounded almonds into the curry to thicken the sauce. Garnish it with the remaining mint and toasted almonds over the top of the dish.
