It is considered that Indian bread is broken down into several layers which provide you perfect shape of lachha paratha. The specific aspect about lachha paratha is its innovative design which represents you a layered structure created from wheat. The proper format of serving lachha paratha is to serve it with ghee as well as perfect seasonings done alongwith. The best part of lachha paratha is that it is very tasty and it very easily melts within the mouth when it is served along with vegetable dish.

8 parathas. Ingredients For The Punjabi Lachha Paratha Preparation
- Wheat Flour or Gehun Ka Atta- 2 ¼ cups
- Eggs- 1
- Salt- 1 tbsp
- Oil- About 3 tbsp
- For Kneading Purpose- Warm Water
- Oil- For Frying On Medium Flame
How To Make The Recipe
- Firstly, put in all the flour along with eggs as well as salt in a bowl. Proper mix in the oil by rubbing it and then mix it with warm water.
- Properly knead the dough again and again in order to provide it perfect look and then divide it into 8 sub parts. Now make 8 perfect rounds and small parts of it and then flatter it a bit.
- Make sure about the proper measurements which must be kept in mind while preparing the rolls. They should be of 150 mm which is appropriately 6 inches in diameter. You will have to properly cut the stripes in lengthways manner and then you have to place all over the centre.
- Roll down the dough like a swiss roll and then press it down slightly with your fingers. Finally pour some oil over it in the centre.
- Properly take out one roll at a time with perfect size and shape.
- After removing the round structure, you have to place the roll over your palm and press it in a manner in the centre so that the layers come up easily.
- Finally place a tava over the flame and properly cook in all the rounds from both the sides. When you are about to serve, you will have to cook them on direct flame. While serving apply butter at the top.
