Brief Description
Stuffed Bajra roti recipe is made by stuffing vegetables into the Bajra rotis. Based on your choice of vegetables, you can make this rotis high in nutrition count and is very much liked by children and other people. It is very appetizing and full of flavor. The locals take this roti along with homemade ghee, jiggery and chutney of Garlic. If you find it hard to stuff the vegetables, then you can mix all the cut vegetables into the dough and knead it well. Then make the rotis. You can also make the rotis by padding the vegetables between two rotis and then gently sloping into one roti.
Time for Preparation Ten minutes Time for cooking Thirty minutes Serves Eight Ingredients For The Recipe
- Two Cups of Bajra Flour
- Salt For Taste
For Stuffing:
- Half Cup Of Crumpled Paneer
- Two Tablespoon Of Chopped Fenugreek Leaves
- One Chopped Green Chili
- One large Sized chopped Tomato
- Salt
How To Make The Recipe
- Put the bajra flour through a sieve and then mix salt in it.
- Add hot water to the flour and knead it into supple dough.
- Make sixteen equal sized rounds by taking small parts of the dough.
- Make thin sized chapattis from rolling each round of dough
- Lay and spread small amount of stuffing on the chapatti.
- Put another chapatti on the stuffed one and compress it to make it into a roti.
- Duplicate this method and make the remaining stuffed rotis.
- Now, put a griddle on high flame and cook both sides of these chapattis, without applying oil on it.
- Stuffed Bajra Roti preparation is over and is ready for serving.
- Put ghee or butter on the rotis before you serve.
