Mustafa Castle
Mustafa Castle is situated in the city of Meerut in India. Mustafa Castle was constructed by Nawab Mohd Ishak Khan as a tribute his father Nawab Mustafa Khan Shefla.
History
The construction of Mustafa Castle was started in the year 1896-97 and was finalised in the year 1900. Grandiose gate was the first assemble of Mustafa Castle which got completed in the year 1899 and later the entire castle itself took around four to five years for completion. Mustafa Castle was constructed by the affectionate son in honour of extraordinary Urdu writer, poet and a well known critic of his age.
Architecture
The entire layout of Mustafa Castle was planned and designed by Ishak Khan himself. Mustafa Castle was constructed on the 30 acres of land.
Nawab Ishak Khan united many kinds of design in the project of Mustafa Castle which offers amenities parallel to the British era cottages and allocates main features with the building of the kingdom of Rajasthan. The combination meant that the structure of Mustafa Castle was to be incomparable to others as built in the cities like Delhi, Lahore and Hyderabad.
Certain traditional objects within the limits of Mustafa Castle are officially under Nawab Ishak Khan ambitious tour around the world and his desire for gathering those pieces which includes clay from Mecca which is mainly used in the building process and also during the substitute of scaffold with a religious Islamic Mosque.
