Deogarh Mahal
Deogarh Mahal is an old magnificent and beautiful palace located at Deogarh in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. History
Deogarh Mahal is a time-honored imperial palace built in 1670 A.D. by Rawat Dwarka Dasji with the purpose to have a family residence. Soon, it became the focal point of the nearby villagers. The royal family rubs shoulders with villagers and started the ritual for a number of feasts and festivities to be carried out within the confines of the building. These traditions are still in existence and unlikely the time when gates were invariably closed with the purpose to fend off enemies is today now open for the guests. Summers
Since Deogarh lies within the state of Rajasthan, which is proverbial for extreme warm weather, which means during summers (March to June) the minimum and maximum temperatures is 23°C or 42 °C respectively and in the wake of this too much heat, most travelers often avoid traveling to this place.
Monsoon
The rainy season (July to September) is moderate and the place experiences average rainfall and yet the atmosphere remains often humid and warm.
Winters: Winters (November to February) are cool here but not too much. During this season, the minimum temperature remains 7°C while the maximum can reach to 27°C. Therefore, it is good to travel to Deogarh between the months of October to April.

If you are going to travel to Deogarh during the monsoon, make sure you carry rainproof clothing and umbrella to deal with the rainfall. If traveling during summers, it is a wise idea to carry light clothing including sunhat or umbrella, sunscreen products and sunglasses. Finally, during winters, it is a must to carry thick jackets/coats along with a good pair of shoes for a comfortable walk.
How to Reach
By Rail
Deogarh has a railways station at Baidyanath Dham which is at a distance of only 7 km from the downtown city. It is a workstation and is straightforwardly linked to the cities like Mumbai (Asn Cstm Express), Delhi (Lal Quila Exp), Kolkata (Kolkata Rajdhani), Varanasi (Akal Takht Exp) and Allahabad (Pratham S Exp).
By Air
There is currently no airport at Deogarh so you will have to arrive at Patna, which is at a distance of 281 km from Deogarh city. Patna has a network of flights from almost all major cities of India. You can hire taxicabs or other transportation facility from Patna to reach Deogarh.
By Bus
Deogarh is well linked by buses to Patna (281 km), Kolkata (363 km), Madhupur (57 km), Giridih (112 km), Dumka (67 km) and Shimultala (53 km). You can enjoy the regular bus facility from these cities to Deogarh.
