This beautiful Palace is found in the city of Hyderabad. Its name means Asman which refers to the Sky and Garh refers to the home. The reason for this was that the palace was situated atop a hill. It has been recently converted into a school known as the St Joseph's Public School.
History
It was personally designed and also built by Sir Asman Jah in the year 1885 atop a hillock for the purpose of leisure. He was a descendant of the Paigah family. He had a desire to build a home very near to the sky which was also his dream and this he managed to fulfill. He was originally known as Mohammed Mazharuddin Khan. It is situated in Chandragiri which was once the later capital of the Vijayanagara Empire.
