Lalgarh palace built in 1902 by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the commemoration of his father Maharaja Lal Singh is an imperial palace in Bikaner. The designer of this monument was commissioned to the leading English architect Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob. This palace is truly eye-popping and is a hybrid amalgamation of the Mughal, the Rajput and the European architecture styles. This grand palace is made of pure red sandstones and reflects the interests of Maharaja of Bikaner in a variety of architecture styles.

The architecture of Lal Garh palace is undoubtedly a masterwork. This palace is a three-storied structure and from inside, it includes a number of rooms such as guest suites, bedrooms, living rooms, smoking rooms, eating rooms, multiple imposing halls, billiards room, cards room and still a number of useful rooms. The palace also boasts of suspending terraces and subtle latticework, which refer to high-class artisanship. Plus, Lal Garh palace also sports imposing halls, marquees, lounges and domes.
